VALI Data Validator (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a software product business that develops and sells data quality and validation tools for data engineers, QA teams, and enterprise data platforms. We operate the website located at valisolution.com (the “Website”) and distribute the VALI Data Validator software application (the “Application”).

Information We Collect

We only collect information in the following limited circumstances:

• Contact form submissions: When you fill out our contact or demo request form on this website, we collect your name, company name, work email address, phone number (optional), and the message you provide. This data is transmitted through Formspree to our email inbox.
• Purchase transactions: When you purchase the Application through our payment processors (Stripe or PayPal), those processors collect your payment information directly. We receive limited transactional data — your email address, purchase amount, and product purchased — for the purpose of delivering your download and providing support. We do not receive or store your credit card number, bank details, or full payment credentials.
• Website analytics (if applicable): We may collect anonymized, aggregated visitor data such as page views and general geographic region via privacy-respecting analytics tools. We do not use advertising trackers or behavioral profiling on this website.

How We Use Your Information

Information collected through this website is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Responding to demo requests, sales inquiries, and support questions you initiate.
• Delivering your purchased software application and license information.
• Sending your purchase receipt and invoice, which is generated automatically by Stripe or PayPal.
• Providing the email support included with your purchased application (1 month).

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your contact information to send unsolicited communications.

Self-Hosted Application — No Data Collection by VALISOLUTION

This is the most important section for customers of the VALI Data Validator Application.

The VALI Data Validator Application is a self-hosted, locally-deployed software tool. When you purchase and install the Application, it runs entirely within your own infrastructure — on your own machine, your own server, or your own internal network.

Specifically, the following data never leaves your environment and is never accessible to VALISOLUTION:

• Database hostnames, usernames, passwords, or connection parameters you enter into the Application.
• Table names, column names, schema metadata, or any database structure information.
• Query results, row counts, data quality metrics, or comparison outputs.
• Test case configurations, test plans, saved mappings, or execution history stored in the local SQLite database.
• Generated HTML reports, PDF summaries, or exported CSV/Excel files.
• Any data that passes through the Application during validation or comparison workflows.

The Application stores all metadata (test runs, mappings, execution history, settings) in a local SQLite database file on your machine. This file is never transmitted to VALISOLUTION or any third party.

Because the Application is self-hosted, VALI Data Validator is not a data processor or data controller under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations) with respect to any data you process through the Application. You are the data controller for your own environment.

Cookies & Tracking

The VALISOLUTION website (valisolution.com) may use essential cookies to support basic website functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or third-party behavioral tracking technologies.

If you use the contact form, your browser may store temporary session data as part of normal form submission behavior. This data is not retained beyond the session.

Payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) may set their own cookies during the checkout process when you are redirected to their hosted payment pages. Those cookies are governed by Stripe’s and PayPal’s respective privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services on this website. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

• Formspree — contact form processing. Your form submission data is transmitted through Formspree’s servers to our email. See: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy
• Stripe — credit/debit card payment processing. We do not store your card data. See: stripe.com/privacy

Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and purchase records for a maximum of 3 years for the purpose of responding to follow-up inquiries and providing the support included with your purchase. After this period, personally identifiable information is deleted.

You may request deletion of your contact or purchase data at any time by emailing valisolution@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data stored in your local VALI Data Validator Application installation (the SQLite database, reports, exports) is entirely under your control. VALISOLUTION has no access to this data and cannot delete, retrieve, or modify it.

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect the limited personal information we collect through this website. Contact form submissions are transmitted via HTTPS to Formspree. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal, which maintain PCI-DSS compliance.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us through this website.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

• Right to access — You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

• Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Any warranty that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs.
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of validation results produced by the Application.
• Any warranty that the Application will be compatible with your specific database versions, operating system, hardware, or network environment.
• Any warranty that defects in the Application will be corrected within any specific timeframe.

You acknowledge that data validation software operates against complex, variable database environments and that results may be affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to: database driver versions, network conditions, database server configuration, data encoding, and database-specific SQL dialect differences.

You are solely responsible for verifying that validation results produced by the Application are correct and appropriate for your use case before taking any action based on those results.

Limitation of Liability

This limitation of liability applies to all claims arising from or related to:

• Your use of or inability to use the Application.
• Errors, bugs, defects, or inaccuracies in the Application or its output.
• Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading validation results produced by the Application.
• Loss of data, corruption of data, or database errors caused or contributed to by use of the Application.
• Business decisions made based on Application output.
• Unauthorized access to your installation of the Application.
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of access to the Application.
• Any action or inaction by third-party database systems, drivers, or services.

In no event shall VALISOLUTION’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from your purchase and use of the Application exceed the total amount you paid to VALISOLUTION for the Application in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Software Defects & No Guarantee of Results

The VALI Data Validator Application is a complex software tool that interacts with multiple external database systems, drivers, operating systems, and environments. By purchasing and using the Application, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• The Application may contain bugs, defects, or errors that affect its functionality or output. We do not guarantee that the Application is free from defects at the time of purchase or at any time thereafter.
• The Application may produce incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected results in certain database environments, configurations, or under certain data conditions. You are responsible for verifying all results independently.
• The Application may not be compatible with all versions of the supported databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake), all operating systems, all Python versions, or all hardware configurations.
• Updates and bug fixes are provided on a best-effort basis during the support period. We do not guarantee that all reported bugs will be fixed or that fixes will be delivered within any specific timeframe.
• The Application should not be used as the sole validation mechanism for critical production data migrations or data releases without independent verification. VALI Data Validator is a tool to assist your validation workflow — final decisions and sign-offs remain your responsibility.
• Database connectivity issues, timeouts, driver incompatibilities, or authentication failures are outside VALISOLUTION’s control and are not grounds for refund or liability claims.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VALISOLUTION and its owners, developers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to and use of the Application.
• Your violation of these terms or any applicable law or regulation.
• Your violation of any rights of a third party, including your database providers, clients, or end users.
• Any data you process through the Application, including any personal data governed by privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the features of the Application. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the website or Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.

If you have purchased the Application, we may notify you of significant changes to this Policy by email, using the address associated with your purchase.
